Proverbs 24:3 -4
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
To have a life that is able to stand against so much requires wisdom. To build our homes and families in such a way that they are established and not easily overturned requires understanding. To have our lives and homes filled with multi-faceted riches requires knowledge. In order to have all of these a woman needs to continue to ask for wisdom, pray for understanding and gain knowledge. A consistent prayer life, bible study and mentors can all contribute to these building supplies for our lives and homes. Hopefully we won’t grow stagnant in the building of our homes. Acknowledging the Lord in all our ways helps us make decisions for our families that result in peaceful and quality outcomes. Knowing what God says about time, finances and relationships causes the day to day relationships within our homes to be precious and rich. Rather than focusing on new granite countertops or stream lined sinks, we should visit the true ‘Home Depot’ – our Maker - and gain from Him all of the building supplies that contribute to a comfortable and pleasant home.
