This is the Lord's doing; it is
marvellous in our eyes.
The Lord’s Doing
The Lord is doing
and the Lord does. He is not a God who
watches and does not get involved. The
Lord does things and it is our privilege to perceive His doings and marvel at
them. Our God is not just a righteous
Judge who judges what occurs, but gets involved and does things in a situation,
with people and for people. Our God is
so full of love and so perfect, He does not need to do things for attention or
affirmation. This is why much of what He
does goes unnoticed by us and we walk with a dull sense of the involvement He
has in our lives. Oh Lord, open our eyes
to see your doings and even when we don’t see them let us praise you for those
things we do not see.
Lord help us use Your lenses as we see whats around us...that we may have an eternal perspective on Your handiwork. Help us get rid of our lenses that get all scratched up with the cares and temporal views of this world.
