Proverbs 27:22
Though thou
shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle,
yet will
not his foolishness depart from him.
Fools are
not to be handled with anger and force.
It will not drive foolishness from them.
If you are dealing with a foolish child, be cautious of your
footing. Do not be pulled into heated
arguments and physical lashes. When you
discern foolishness, listen to the only wise God and seek His counsel on what
to say and what not to say. Foolishness
can be driven out by the rod of correction, not the rod of anger. Correction involves speaking the truth and
bringing the foolishness into the light of truth. Be a mom who can hold her ground because you
are standing on the rock.
