20:6
Now know I that the Lord saveth
his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of
his right hand.
Here we learn that
God saves and hears us with the saving strength of his right hand. God’s listening is not passive. He listens with His strength. He hears us with His power and ability to
save. When we pray we must remember that
it is not some sort of therapeutic time to vent and have a God sit and listen
to us with an open ear and yet an indifferent response. God hears in a responsive way. Our God uses His authority as we come to Him
with our requests and burdens. He hears
from his holy heaven WITH the saving strength of his right hand. Thank You Lord that You listen with the
intent of responding. Thank you that
when we ask, you give. When we knock,
you open. When we seek, you reveal.
