Eph 1:3
Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all
spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
This verse
is stated in past tense. When we are in
Christ, all spiritual blessings have already been given to us. The Lord has given us EVERYTHING pertaining
to life and godliness in Christ. I love
the phrase ‘in Christ’. “There is
therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ…” “If any man is in Christ he is a new
creation…” Here we see that when we
believe and find ourselves in Christ, our God and Father has blessed us with
all spiritual blessings. Our God is
generous and when we became His children we suddenly became privileged to all
that is part of His inheritance. Thank
You, Father, for having blessed us. Oh
Lord, let us be a people who expectantly look for whatever we need from
You. You are generous. You are kind.
We have so much more than we have drawn from. Open our eyes to these spiritual
blessings.
