Proverbs - Know Your Place

Proverbs 27:8 As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place.

Do you know your place dear sister?  Where has God placed you and are you cultivating the land and fulfilling the calling He has given you?   Are you wandering seeking to find worth and purpose outside of that which He has given you?  If you are, my friend, you are like a bird wandering from her nest.   You are vulnerable and at risk of injury or death.  What is your nest and are you wandering.  Your nest needs to be cared for.  Some of the materials your nest is made up of needs repair and more sticks and soft padding to keep it in tip top shape.  You are privileged to be where you are and your sense of satisfaction with life is directly related to caring for the place God has placed you.  Don’t be slothful.  Don’t be discontent.  Take where you are and be there.  Ask the Lord to help you stay in your place and take care of it.  You will be protected.  The Lord will be glorified and you will enjoy safety
