Ps
86:9-10
All nations whom thou hast made
shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. For
thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
God
is the God of ALL nations. He is not a
just a Jewish God. He is not an American
God. He is not a Mexican God. He is the God of All nations. This is why we must be careful when
interpreting His character in the light of our culture. We must remember that He works in ALL
cultures. His Word is not to be preached
to other nations with a cultural slant of our own. The glorious news about Jesus Christ is that
He came to save the whole world. The
message of salvation is not to be encased in a nation’s ideals but to presented
in light of eternal truths applicable to ALL men EVERYWHERE! Even the Lord’s covenant with Israel was
intended to demonstrate to the nations that surrounded Israel how wonderful
Jehovah is! Rejoice today and maybe pray
for some people in another country to know the good news of Jesus Christ and
what He has done for them and their nation!
