Proverbs 27:17
Iron
sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Friendships
are healthy. The body of Christ is made
up of many members. One part supplies
what the next part needs. To sharpen a
knife or a pair of scissors, another piece of metal is rubbed against it
bringing back to its optimum performance and removing the natural dulling time
brings. Ladies, we will dull if we
isolate ourselves and just have our husbands and children as influences. We need to be around other sisters and trust
that they will sharpen us and we will sharpen them. When was the last time you spent some time on
the phone or went out to lunch with another sister? If you are a woman who tends to isolate, you
meddle or interfere with wisdom. Get
close to some great gals and watch some of your dullness fade away!
