Proverbs 28:24
Whoso
robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same
is the companion of a destroyer.
Parents are
to be treated with honor and respect.
They should not be robbed of honor, possessions or money. Do you owe your parents something? At one time did they bail you out and you can
repay them? If your children have taken
some money or snuck something behind your back have you considered the
seriousness of this offense? Just
because parents provide for their children doesn’t mean the children have the
right to take from the parents. We don’t
want to be a companion of a destroyer or raise such children.
