26:3
For
thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes:
and
I have walked in thy truth.
The
psalmist is declaring the God’s lovingkindness is before his eyes. This means that God’s goodness and mercy is
right in front of us. God wants us to
see His lovingkindess. He wants us to
hear His lovingkindness in the morning and He is doing things continually that
represent His goodness and mercy. We
need to believe that and open our eyes in such a way that we recognize His
faithfulness more quickly than we recognize the betrayal of man. His lovingkindness is before us and we would
do well to not turn our eyes to the left nor to the right but look ahead as we
walk in His truth knowing His lovingkindness is right in front of us!
