Proverbs - Don't Bow Down

Proverbs 25:26

A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

We need never back down on doing what is right regardless of threats or intimidation.  We are not to bow our will to the whims and influences of this present wicked age.  We have been delivered from this evil world and its standards and directives are not our orders.  We serve the living God and to Him and to Him only will we bow.  When Mordecai chose not to bow to Haman, he proved his loyalty to God alone.  When Shadrach, Mishach and Abednego chose not to bow to the golden idol, they demonstrated their steadfast loyalty to God alone.  What is asking you to bow?  Who is asking you to bow?  Refuse to do so dear sister!  Do not be a troubled fountain or a corrupt spring.  Continue in your journey to please Him and disregard the mandates of the wicked.  As for you and your house – serve the Lord!
