And he said unto me, It is
done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him
that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
The Beginning and the End
The
Lord declares Himself to be the beginning and the end – the Alpha and the
Omega. He is the One who started
everything and He will bring it to a close.
We need to trust in the One who can complete the things He wants
completed. He starts things and He
finishes them. Maybe something just
seems to be stagnant and not going in the direction of completion. We need to look to Him and trust in Him to
see it to its finish. Those who know
the name of the Lord place their trust in Him.
Sometimes we can be weary or overwhelmed but He never grows weary. Let us look to the One who is able to finish
what has been started. That is His
name. He is to be trusted.
