Ps
145:19
He will fulfil the desire of
them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
We
are told in this verse that we are to fear the Lord and we are to cry out to
the Lord. He will fulfill our desires
and He will save us when we focus on this.
The Lord sees our hearts and our desires and knows us better than we
know ourselves. He loves for us to come
into His presence with our concerns, dreams and desires. He loves us and He loves to fulfill our
desires. When we fear the Lord our
desires start to go in a direction that lines up with God’s heart and
mind. We start to value the things He
values and deem worthless that which he deems worthless. Sometimes we spend our efforts trying to
fulfill our desires when we should focus on fearing the Lord. He will fulfill our desires and we can focus
on fearing Him and crying out to Him.
