Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and
thy thoughts shall be established.
Our society emphasizes the proper
mindset in order to be successful in our pursuits. Here, the Lord is telling us just the
opposite. He is instructing us to
commit our works, all that we do, unto Him and then our thoughts will be
established. We will think the way He
wants us to think. As we go throughout
our day, grocery shopping, running errands, cooking dinner, preparing that
report, let us consciously commit these things to Him for His glory and watch
our thinking become settled and not so scattered!
