Proverbs 28:28
When the wicked rise, men hide
themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
Oh that we
would pray for the authority over us! We
have seen a multitude of proverbs warning us of the tremendous impact the type
of authority we have over us has as well as the type of effect we can have on
those under our authority. Take some
time now and ask the Lord to remove those in authority over us that might be
wicked and raise up those who are righteous and want to please Him.
