Proverbs 12:13-14
The wicked is snared by the transgression of his
lips:
but the just
shall come out of trouble.
A man shall
be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth:
and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
Our
mouths oftentimes direct the flow of our day and relationships. Here we see that satisfaction also comes from
the fruit of our mouths. What kinds of
things are you saying to your children, your husband, your household or
yourself? Many times conflict and strain
in relationships results from the wrong words being spoken. Ask the Lord to put a guard over your mouth
today and to speak through you to everyone today.
