Proverbs 13:6
Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in
the way:
but wickedness
overthroweth the sinner.
We can be
tempted to be inconsistent in right choices.
Maybe our church attendance or daily times in prayer or the Word of God
are challenged by forces seeking to interrupt righteousness. When we are clear about the right thing to do
and we continue in these things, these disciplines will keep us in the
way. We will not be misled in a way that
results in wandering and aimless pursuits.
We will be kept in the way – protected from slippery paths that lead to
destruction and harm
.
