Proverbs - By Wise Counsel

Proverbs 24:5 -7

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

A woman who is acting on good advice and sound judgment is able to withstand the pressures associated with running her life and home.  She is not easily discouraged by feelings and the judgments of others.  She has brought her situation before the Lord and other older believers.  She knows that in order to make war she needs information and a stockade of effective armaments.  She goes to get it and does not rely upon her own resources.  She senses safety because she has gained insight and perspective from others.  She is not caught off guard by certain elements for she was warned by someone who had been in her battle before.  She is not a fool.  She can give wisdom to others and wants to because she knows how valuable it was for her.  She opens her mouth in the gate.  She hears of some sort of problem someone is having and offers her insight and concern.  This woman is strong and she increases in strength.
