Jer 1:12

Jeremiah was asked by the Lord here to state what he saw. When Jeremiah saw what was really there, the Lord affirmed his perspective and told him he had answered correctly. The Lord wants to show us all kinds of things and understands that we, sometimes, have to focus in and find out from Him if we are seeing what He wants us to see. Jeremiah and the Lord were having a conversation and the Lord questioned Jeremiah about what he saw. The Lord will question us and ask us if we see what He is trying to show us. He will then let us know if we are seeing correctly. What a wonderful teacher we have. He wants us to see truth and will be sure to affirm us when we do. Don’t think the Lord wants to always tell you when you are wrong. He loves to tell you when you are right as well. Be open to this from Him that your relationship with Him might be the safe and encouraging one He desires it to be!
