Proverbs 27:11
My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
Praying for wisdom for our children is quite the need. Our children have foolishness bound up in them and by asking the Lord to give them wisdom and help them to obey wisdom when she calls, helps us answer those who reproach us. As moms, we really enjoy the wise choices our children make. When they live wisely we can enjoy the parenting role much more. We are not so beat up nor or we beating ourselves up for the blame the enemy often puts on us for our children’s foolish choices. Let us continue to ask God to give our children wisdom so that when the enemy reproaches us we can rest in the fact that we have done our part, asked God to do his part and allow our children to do their part.
