Proverbs 27:7
The full soul loatheth an honeycomb;
but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
We need to be satisfied with the Lord. When we are filled with His joy and love we will not be so tempted to taste of other things that are not good for us. Have you taken time today to fill yourself with His truth? Have you considered that in His presence there is fullness of joy? Have you asked Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit? When our souls are full we will not be quick to taste something no matter how sweet it may appear. We will have much more discretion as to what to listen to or take in. Be filled with His Spirit. Be filled with His Word. Be filled with His love and watch those temptations no longer be tempting.
