But the Lord is the true God,…
If the Lord is the
true God, there must be false gods. The
Lord is true, authentic, genuine and reliable.
Our God is truth and truth He speaks and gives. We often believe so many lies or jump to so
many conclusions. When we come into His
presence, we can anticipate truth; truth about His character, truth about
ourselves and truth about what we hear and experience. Our God is the true God and we have no need
to fear or be shaken by the deceptive philosophies and gods of this world. When we place our lives into the Lordship of
the true God, we are safe, secure and settled.
He is reliable, unchangeable and consistent. He is accurate, just and sure. What a wonderful, true God we serve!
