For his God doth instruct him to discretion,
and doth teach him.
God Instructs and Teaches
This verse is taken
from a section where a farmer’s job is being described. It is quite detailed on the tools and
procedures involved with farming. Here,
we see that it is God that gives the farmer the know-how to do his
farming. God shows him when, with what
tools, in which order and how to do his job.
Our God knows how to do everything.
He wants to instruct us in whatever ‘farming’ we have to do. Are you starting a new job or position? Be open and dependent on God to lead you to
the right resources, mentors or training that would equip you to work
well. Do you have something you have to
do around the house that you really don’t think you are quite gifted in? Call out to the Lord, ask Him to teach you
and then…be instructed by Him. He will
begin to lead you and give you the peace you need to do the things you have
been called to do. Resist self
confidence. Replace it with a confidence
in a God who loves to instruct and teach.
Approach your work with an open heart and humble mind. Watch how he can give you good success and be
certain to thank Him and give Him the glory!
