Proverbs 8:7-9
For my mouth
shall speak truth;
and
wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
All the
words of my mouth are in righteousness;
there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
They are all
plain to him that understandeth,
and right to them that find knowledge.
Isn’t
it just the most wonderful discovery that ALL that our God has to say to us in
His Word is in righteousness and that there is nothing twisted or deceptive in
it? All other sources are open game for
the opinions of man, demonic inspiration or misguided conclusions. When we sit
in His presence and take in His written Word that is truly HIS voice in written
format, we are in a place where we have trusted counsel, advice and
perspective. All other sources, even
Christian books and commentaries, are tainted with human opinion and assessment. HIS Word is pure and promises to enlighten
our eyes. They are just so pure we have
to take our fill and be refreshed!
