Proverbs - Warnings Against Certain People

Proverbs 6:12-15

A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet,
 he teacheth with his fingers;
Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually;
 he soweth discord.
Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly;
suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

                    The Lord is warning us about people that really exist.  They are the ‘salespeople’ of this world and they are selling everything from self pity to daring adventures.  There are people who are lying and not speaking the clear truth.  They speak with an element of truth and yet something isn't quite right.  These people plant seeds in the hearts of men and women that cause contention and division between people.  We must remove ourselves from these people and pray that the Lord will expose them, deal with them and cause them to walk uprightly.

                    We must make sure we avoid being any of these things.  We must make sure we are upright and dealing honestly.  We must be careful about devising plans that are not pleasing to the Lord.  We must not have ‘fantasies’ or ‘imaginations’ that are classified as evil to our God.
