throne denotes position, authority and dominion. God’s position is established forever. It doesn’t matter if someone is yielded to
Him as their king or not, He is king.
His authority is final no matter what cultural trends seem to be popular
and accepted. His dominion is enduring
and He will have the final say in the end.
He is God and we are His creation.
Our stability and confidence should be quite sure given the fact that
God’s throne is forever and ever. If you
and I have declared Him our king and willingly submitted to His kingdom’s
cause, we can rest knowing that His authority is quite sufficient for all
matters of our lives. His throne is
forever. His throne is over our
marriages, feelings, health and finances.
The neat thing is, that not only are we under His authority as subjects
in His kingdom, but we are His children and live within His tender care and
affection. Thank you for your throne O
God. Rule over my soul my precious King!
