Proverbs 28:7
Whoso
keepeth the law is a wise son:
but he that
is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
Praying for
young people’s friends should be a regular discipline. If they choose friends that go towards
partying and lawlessness they will do thing that bring shame to their
fathers. As we raise our children or see
those in the youth groups, we would do well to shoot up prayers asking God to
surround them with people who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Pray that they would walk with the wise and
have mentors and associates who will be like iron sharpening iron.
