Proverbs 27:24
For riches
are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation?
When we are
doing well financially we are not act like this will continue
uninterrupted. Riches are not forever
and the authority we have now might not be with us tomorrow. This should motivate us to be diligent and
faithful in the calling we find ourselves in now. We must know that we are but dust and our
times are in His hands. All authority
is given by God and He sets down and lifts up.
We should enjoy where we are and seek to be faithful with what we
have. To be presumptuous about our
future is to exalt ourselves above our God.
Let us remember that we don’t know what a day brings forth and seek to
honor Him now.
