Proverbs 15:28
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer:
but
the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
As women of God we must be women who
do not answer a matter quickly. We study
to answer. Studying involves looking at
something with the intent of getting the right answer when tested. Part of our ability to speak the right things
is, “are we studying the right things?” Our hearts should be pondering the truths of
God’s Word in order to have His wisdom and grace upon our lips. Our feelings, opinions and analysis are often
not to be shared in response to a situation.
We can pray about these things and talk them over with the Lord, but to
answer a matter we ought to take the time to give the right answer – the answer
of the tongue that He desires us to give.
In order to be wise women, our words should be dedicated to His glory
and purposes. Words are very powerful
and we want the right power to come forth.
Commit your tongue to the Lord today.
Be slow to speak and study to give the right responses.
