Proverbs - Walking Uprightly

Proverbs 15:21

Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom:
but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.

Finding ourselves enjoying foolish choices reveals a great lack of wisdom.  Hasty decisions are often motivated by impulse and are usually not led by the Holy Spirit.  Our spirits should fear going down the road of foolishness and should desire the peace of the road marked by wisdom.   When we are women who want understanding we will walk uprightly.  Walking uprightly means we can see everything around us.  We see the past, present and future.  Our faces are not stubborn, set in a direction, but we are looking for His leading whether it agrees with our desires or not.  How long will we argue with love?  The Lord loves us and desires to order our steps and show us His path of life.  Lift up your eyes in those areas in which you are seeking His will.  Be open to all of the angles and don’t be afraid of His path.  His paths are the paths of pleasantness.
