He fashioneth their hearts alike;
he
considereth all their works.
The
Lord Made Our Hearts Alike
The Lord has
made all people’s hearts alike. We all started
out with the same propensity to sin and the same propensity to have the light
of the glory of God shine in our hearts through the face of Jesus Christ. The Lord knows our hearts and the hearts of
those around us. He has made us and He
can heal us. He considers our works and
connects those to our hearts. We can be
in a place where our hearts are producing the actions that demonstrate His
presence within us. As the Lord searches
our works, He desires to connect that back to matters of the heart. The next time the Holy Spirit convicts you of
a sinful deed or attitude, you might ask Him to show you the heart of the
matter. This way, the Lord can get to
the root of the problem and transform you from the inside out.
