Proverbs 31:31
Give her of the fruit of her hands;
and let her own works praise her in the gates.
What we build will end up being what we live
in. Are we planting those things that
the Lord tells us to plant? Are we doing
those works He has set up beforehand for us to walk in? Do we aimlessly exist just letting the day
take us or are we being led by the Holy Spirit into the things He wants us to
do? We don’t have to seek the favor or
praise of people. When we do what God
wants us to do, the very works themselves will provide a place of purpose and
satisfaction. Although we are most
definitely saved by grace through faith, the life of wisdom is one that is
satisfying and fruitful. Sister, plant
to the Spirit and of the Spirit you will find yourself eating wonderful fruit.
