Proverbs 4:18-19
But the path of the just is as the
shining light,
that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
The way of the wicked is as darkness:
they know not at what they stumble.
We
should be seeing things more clearly every year as we follow Jesus, the light
of the world. Oftentimes we are sinned
against by an unbeliever or look at a non-Christian’s life and wonder, “How
could they possibly think that they made a right decision? Don’t they see what
they have done to me or what they are doing to their lives?” My friend, they don’t. They are stumbling at things they can’t even
recognize. Oh that the Lord would open
the eyes of their understanding and help us to have mercy on them in their
darkness.
