Proverbs - Waters of Words

Proverbs 18:4

The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters,
and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.

What we talk about can provide refreshment for those who hear us.  When we speak things that are full of life we can actually wash away the spotting of depression and despair from other people.  As we contribute to a conversation, our words can redirect the flow away from cynicism, judgment and anger to a flow of life, hope and encouragement.  In order to have this effect our words should be purposed to refresh and wash away confusion.  Opening our mouths with wisdom is to be a trademark for the virtuous woman.  We must not be rash with our opinions or quick to speak what we feel.  We must be women whose words flow forth from a depth of communication with the Lord.  We should bring matters before Him and pray over them and then hid His word in our hearts.  This provides the source for such deep waters and the wellspring of wisdom.
