Proverbs 22:12
The
eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge,
and
he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.
When
we know what is right and it is according to the Lord’s commandment, we can
trust that the Lord has preserved that and it will work. Sometimes we may find ourselves in a place
where someone not following the Lord seems like their words are accurate and
worthy to be followed. This is a
moment. This is like the grass of the
field. It rises and it is green and
beautiful, but as quickly as it grew, it begins to wither. When we choose to trust God and His Word we
will see the preservation of these truths and that they endure and last
throughout our lives, in all cultures and at all times. The Lord’s eyes preserve this knowledge. He will be sure His knowledge is proven
right. The words of the sinner will
eventually be overthrown. As we hear His
words and do them, we will be like the man who built his house on the rock. When the winds come and when the waves come
it will not fall.
