Proverbs - Status, sin, stain and salvation

Proverbs 22:2

The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all.

In our society there can be quite a difference in how a rich man is treated versus the poor.  This is not true in the Lord’s socioeconomic system.  There is no class and the intrinsic value of a person is not their bank accounts, education or clothing, but in the fact that they are worth the sinless blood of Jesus Christ.  When Christ died, He established the worth of every human being.  The worth of something is how much someone is willing to pay for it.  Ladies, we are worth the precious blood of the only begotten Son of God.  The movie stars, presidents and CEO’s of this world are of the same value.  The homeless, mentally ill and ignorant are too.  God so love the WORLD that He gave His only Son, that WHOSEVER (rich or poor) believes in Him would have eternal life.  Let us look upon those we see in the same light, interceding for them and knowing that His blood has been poured out for sinners of all status.
